Due to request from several stakeholders the New Zealand Ministry of Health has extended the date for requests to the Permitted Substances List (PSL) and the draft list of conditions.

The deadline was for 31 May 2016. The original cut-off was set with the expectation that the Natural Health Products Bill would be in place by June 2016. It is clear that a June date is unlikely at this stage, and so the next expected date for implementation is November 2016 (which is the date given in the SOP version of the Bill).

Therefore, requests for ingredients for inclusion on the PSL and the draft list of conditions will be accepted by the MOH, free of charge, until 31 October 2016.
