Binh has been working in regulatory since the start of her career. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology in Ho Chi Minh City, she worked for Virbac, an animal health company specialised in nutritional feed and medicinal products for a year before pursuing her further education in Australia.
With a strong interest in both business and science, Binh enrolled for a Masters degree course in Technology and Innovation Management at Business School of the University of Queensland.
Upon obtaining her degree in 2009, Binh returned to Vietnam and was employed by Vita Life Sciences Ltd, an Australian owned pharmaceutical and healthcare group with established vitamin supplement brands throughout Australia and Asia. She was proud to be the pioneer staff member to set up their Ho Chi Minh City office and facilitate the launch of VitaHealth brand into Vietnam and was also responsible for product development and training for Vietnam market.
In 2012, she was transferred to Vita Life Sciences Ltd’s office in Sydney to work for Herbs of Gold brand and since then has gained extensive experience. Binh’s skills range from developing new product ideas and working with raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers to understanding and efficiently implementing complex regulatory legislation in complementary medicines in Australia.
In the last year of her 6-year tenureship at Herbs of Gold, Binh became a part of the management team responsible for regulatory affairs and product development for their range. Joining the AWRS team, she is excited to offer her knowledge to help businesses to implement and achieve high regulatory compliance standard whilst maintaining the commercialisation of their products effectively.
